🔒 SINO Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the SINO mobile application (hereafter referred to as the “Application”) developed by Caroo AI (hereafter referred to as the “Service Provider”) as a commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS.”
The Service Provider respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects minimal user information necessary for its functionality. The data collected and how it is used are outlined below:

The Application does not collect or store unnecessary personal information on external servers. All sensitive data remains on the user's device or within Apple's ecosystem.

2. Purpose of Data Use

The Service Provider processes user data solely for the following purposes:

Service operation: Managing focus timers, statistics, and session tracking
Subscription management: Handling purchases, renewals, and restorations via StoreKit 2
User support: Providing technical assistance and responding to inquiries
Personalization: Maintaining user preferences, app appearance, and behavior settings

3. Data Retention Policy

Local and iCloud-stored data are retained only on the user's device and deleted upon app removal or user-initiated data deletion.
Subscription data is managed and retained by Apple's App Store in accordance with Apple's privacy policy.
Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics may be used internally for service improvement.

4. Third-Party Access

The Application does not share, sell, or disclose personal information to third parties. However, certain functionalities rely on Apple's and other third-party services that have their own privacy policies. These include:

Apple (Sign in with Apple, iCloud, StoreKit 2)
RevenueCat (for subscription management and analytics)

Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these providers.

5. Security

The Service Provider prioritizes your privacy and implements reasonable measures to safeguard information:

Local data is secured using device-level encryption.
All communication between the app and external APIs uses TLS/SSL encryption.
Sensitive authentication and subscription data are processed securely through Apple frameworks (StoreKit 2, Sign in with Apple).

6. User Rights and Control

You may exercise control over your information in the following ways:

Data deletion: Delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
iCloud control: Disable SINO iCloud synchronization in your Apple settings.
Subscription management: Modify or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.

The Service Provider cannot access or modify Apple-managed data directly.

7. Children's Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If the Service Provider becomes aware that a child has provided personal information, such data will be immediately deleted. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided such data can contact the Service Provider at caroo.tech@gmail.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be posted in the Application or on the official website. Continued use of the Application after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
